Even though Loren has been involved with investments and banking since 1987, his mortgage "career" really started in 1992, when he and his new bride built their first home. Back then, he put up a brave front and didn't ask all the questions about how his loan worked, what his options were, and how a home can be a great financial asset.

Now, the first thing Loren does is make sure each and every customer he meets with understands the answers to the questions he had back then. It's one reason that almost 100% of his business is referred to him by satisfied clients, trusted financial advisors and the most experienced Realtors in the Twin Cities.

Loren operates on 3 distinct principles:
1. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Give options. Return phone calls. Explain choices.
2. Work hard and enjoy play. Work hard to earn business, work hard to complete business, work hard to keep a customer "for life".
3. Everything passes the "Mom" test. (Loren treats his customers as he would treat his own Mom, still living in her late 80's!!)

He has served as a past president of his church congregation, holds a double major from the University of Minnesota, he was a former radio play-by-play announcer for the U of M men's hockey team and for the 1980 Olympic men's hockey team.

When he is not working with a client, Loren can be found at a Minnesota Wild hockey game, out on a patio with friends, watching his daughter dance with the Larkin Dance Studio, or at his church.

Loren resides in Mahtomedi with his wife and 2 children.
